When it comes to fabric there is a huge selection and depending on what you want to pay our tailoring consultants will show you a range in your budget.
Luxury fabrics such as sea island cotton and Egyptian cotton are extremely soft and perfect for shirting, the price point reflects that.
Compared to Highstreet shirt cotton the premium grown fibres in Egyptian and sea island fabric are generally 5.3 cm to 2.85 cm in length making them softer and more breathable.

Fittings
A bespoke shirt requires a unique pattern to be drafted for each of our clients with their own measurements and style. The attention to detail on a bespoke suit means that the tailor will take into account things like shoulder slope and posture.
The fitting is a vital part of the process and is used to make any changes to the balance, shape and fit and make sure the tailor and client are both happy and most of all the client is comfortable.
Shape, cuffs and collar
Our tailoring consultants are there to help the client through the choices that come with buying any bespoke piece, including shirts. This includes not just fabric but the style, shape, collar, fit, cuff depth and all the minor details that come along with that.
There are lots of small details such as fused or sewn collars and what shape they would like it. We generally say that if you have a square or more fuller face go for a narrow point collar and if you have a slim face a spread collar will suit you better. We will also discuss the height of the collar as well as the cuff shape and depth.
The main thing to discuss with your tailor is what shape you want and how you want it to fit. A good idea is to bring in a shirt you already own that you feel comfortable in and you feel fits you well.
Occasions
The best shirt for the office is something that is smart, practical and comfortable and for this, we would go for the classic shirt shape that you wear every day in a traditional white, blue or striped.
For working from home you could go for a traditional shape but in a more casual print such as a check or a navy. A granddad collar would also be a great work from home style.
For a wedding, a pin collar shirt, oxford or linen shirt would work best in neutral colours
