Following a stint in a dedicated shop facility, in 2018 Fielding & Nicholson took the decision to operate only from private showroom spaces, open on a one to one appointment only basis.
Whilst the shop facility offered a good opportunity to showcase the brand, it also somewhat restricted the personal nature of the bespoke experience.
Our locations offer complete privacy and the opportunity for clients to be fully immersed in a retail experience, without having to share their time with others.
Clients have the opportunity to choose drinks and aperitifs of their choice. If music is a preference your playlist will be added to the sound system.
In addition we prepare fully for each and every meeting, putting together cloths, linings and mood boards if required. Bespoke clothing means bespoke service.
Fielding & Nicholson’s flagship location, The Mayfair Studio, is based in the heart of the West End, off the world famous ‘home of tailoring’ Savile Row.
In 2018 The House of Dormeuil invited us to become part of the fabric of their operation and base ourselves at 35 Sackville Street. This accolade is only bestowed on the finest tailors and Dormeuil knew that one of London’s top ten would be a worthy partner.
Being housed in Dormeuil gives us access to their centuries old catalogue of cloth knowledge, currently encompassing over 6,000 unique cloths.
The location, in the heart of London’s tailoring district, gives us access to many more cloths from the likes of Scabal, Holland & Sherry and Huddersfield Fine Worsteds.
The showroom was recently modernised and showcases the ultimate in luxury finishes: A solid oak table, luxury changing room, comfortable lounge chairs and an air-conditioning system (mainly used for its heat function in London’s Winter months!)
We also service clients in the North of the UK.
Due to the company’s ongoing success, in early 2022 we were approached by BTI Global as a tailoring partner to open up on The Strand. We took the opportunity with open arms.
Opposite The High Court, this penthouse location not only offers a window to the high-profile court cases that take place in this world-famous courthouse, it also serves as the perfect place for clients to relax and peruse cloth at their leisure.
As a standalone showroom space the cloth choices here are endless and run into the thousands. On display are fabrics from every merchant imaginable. Along with the usual UK-based mills we were introduced to the likes of Reda, Loro Piana along with tweed makers like Abraham Moon.
The Strand gives us the opportunity to open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, meeting clients at their convenience night or day. Along with the normal drinks offerings we often take clients over to Scarfes bar at The Rosewood Hotel – a recently renovated 5 star hotel.
Set in the heart of Manhattan, the New York showroom is a truly delightful place to make cloth choices over a coffee or something stronger.
Back in 2017 we embarked on a partnership with tailors Ten Acres to work on the construction of our bespoke handmade garments. More recently they invited us to their space in Manhattan to meet clients on a one to one basis.
We’re based in New York on an appointment only basis and make regular trips. We have the usual selection of thousands of cloths and bring our brand of English bespoke service to The Big Apple at least every 5-6 weeks.
The Risch Lounge is a rustic warehouse-style location close to the Uetlihof region of Zürich, Switzerland.
The partnership with Risch was born out of a chance meeting between Ian Fielding-Calcutt and Dominik Risch at a networking event in 2019. Ian and Dominik hit it off and the obvious connection between high quality hand made shoes and suits was made.
Now Risch has dedicated a VIP room specifically for Fielding & Nicholson to use on its regular monthly trips. Along with choosing from a huge variety of cloths, clients can match shoes to their new suits or smart casual purchases.
Risch also boasts a foot-measuring machine to take a scan of your foot in just minutes. Following the scan Risch has the perfect fit for any of the shoes you choose either in store or online.
Dominik and his team are very attentive serving a choice of coffees, teas and Swiss chocolates to clients old and new.
The Risch Lounge is the perfect place to have a relaxing sartorial morning or afternoon in the company of bespoke experts.
Due to the ongoing success of Fielding & Nicholson globally, in 2023 we opened a brand new location in Knutsford, Cheshire.
For city-centre based executives we have a relationship with The Radisson Edwardian, Peter Street, and can see clients in a designated suite there. Alternatively we frequently visit clients in their own offices, chambers or homes.
Ian’s brother in law, Lewis Calcutt, services clients in the area. He is also happy to travel and has clients in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, Liverpool, Cardiff, Edinburgh and the Scottish Highlands.

Our ongoing relationships have now bought us to The Mere Golf Resort and Spa. A luxurious resort located in the idyllic Cheshire countryside.
