CASUAL WEAR FOR MEN

TAILORED CASUAL WEAR FOR MEN

Shirts, polos, separates, knitwear, jeans and outerwear. All cut to your measurements and built to last.

Dress codes have loosened up. But that does not mean your clothes should fit any worse. If anything, it is harder to look sharp in casual clothes than in a suit. A suit has structure. Casual wear has to do the work on its own, and that means the fit has to be right.

Off-the-peg casual clothes are sized by letters and numbers. They fit averages, not people. Sleeves that are too long. Shoulders that sit wide. Polo shirts that billow at the waist. You end up looking like you grabbed what was left on the rail.

We make casual wear the same way we make suits: to your exact measurements, in cloths you choose, with every detail fitted to your build. The result is everyday clothing that sits properly and feels like it was made for you. Because it was.

CUSTOM SHIRTS AND POLOS

The pieces you reach for most often. Made to fit your neck, chest and arms, not the nearest size on a hanger.

Why It Matters

A casual shirt or polo is something you wear close to the body, often without a jacket over it. There is nowhere to hide a bad fit. If the collar sits wrong, the shoulders drop too far, or the body is too full, it shows. A made-to-measure shirt fixes all of that. It is cut to your shape, so it sits clean from collar to hem.

Shirts

We make casual shirts in a wide range of cloths: brushed cotton, chambray, linen, Oxford weave, and lightweight flannel among others. You pick the collar style, cuff, placket and fit. Want it untucked? We cut the length for that. Prefer a slimmer body? We take it in. Every part of the shirt is set to how you plan to wear it.

Polos

Our polos are made to measure with the same care as our shirts. You choose the cloth, the collar shape, the sleeve length and the body fit. The result is a polo that sits flat across the chest and shoulders without pulling or bunching. It is one of the simplest things we make, and one of the most useful.

SEPARATES

A blazer and trousers that do not match, but work together. The building blocks of a smart casual wardrobe.

What Separates Are

Separates means a jacket and trousers cut in different cloths and worn together on purpose. A navy blazer with grey flannel trousers. A camel jacket with dark chinos. A linen sport coat with cotton trousers in summer. The idea is to mix textures and colours in a way that looks pulled together without being a suit.

This is the core of smart casual. It gives you more range than a matching suit and more polish than a shirt on its own. If your workplace has moved away from suits or you go to a lot of events where a full suit feels like too much, separates are the answer.

How We Build Them

Each piece is made on its own, to your measurements. We fit the jacket and trousers as separate items, but we make sure they work as a pair. That means getting the proportions right: jacket length against trouser rise, shoulder width against trouser line, cloth weight against cloth weight.

Your tailor will help you put the combinations together. If you are not sure what goes with what, that is exactly what the consultation is for. We can build you a capsule of two or three jackets and four or five trousers that mix and match across a full working week or a run of social events.

CASUAL JACKETS AND OUTERWEAR

Overcoats, peacoats, field jackets, gilets and unstructured blazers. Made to your size and your climate.

Why Bespoke Outerwear

A coat or jacket is the first thing people see when you walk in, and the last thing they see when you leave. Off-the-peg outerwear is sized to fit the most people possible, which means it fits no one properly. Sleeves are guessed. Shoulders are averaged. Length is a compromise. A made-to-measure coat fixes all of that in one go.

What We Make

We build overcoats, peacoats, car coats, field jackets, gilets, unstructured blazers and more. The cloth, lining, pockets, buttons and finish are all yours to choose. Want a heavier wool overcoat with a full lining for winter commuting? Done. A lighter cotton field jacket with patch pockets for weekends? Also done.

Cloth and Construction

For winter outerwear, we work in heavier wools, cashmere blends and tweeds. For transitional pieces, lighter wools, moleskin, and cotton drills. Every coat is lined to your preference, whether that is a full silk lining, a half lining for breathability, or an unlined build for a softer, more relaxed feel.

TAILORED JEANS

Bespoke denim cut to your waist, seat and leg. No stretch guesswork. No break-in period.

Why Bespoke Jeans

Most people have spent years looking for jeans that fit well. The waist is right but the thighs are too tight. The leg is good but the seat is wrong. Sizing charts do not account for the way your body actually sits. Bespoke jeans skip all of that. We measure you and cut the pattern to your shape, so the fit is right from day one.

Denim Choices

We work with Japanese selvedge denim, Italian denim, and stretch blends depending on what you want. Selvedge gives you a heavier, more structured jean that ages well over time. Stretch blends are lighter and easier to move in, which suits travel and warmer weather. Your tailor will talk you through the options and help you pick the right weight and finish for how you plan to wear them.

Details

You choose the rise, the leg shape (straight, slim or tapered), the pocket style, the stitching colour and the hardware. We can do a clean, minimal finish or something with more character. These are jeans built around you, not jeans you learn to live with.

TAILORED KNITWEAR

V-necks, crew necks, roll necks and zip-throughs. Knitted to your measurements in merino, cashmere or cotton.

Why Tailored Knitwear

A well-fitting jumper is one of the hardest things to find off the peg. Most are too boxy in the body, too long in the sleeve, or too short in the torso. Bespoke knitwear is made to your measurements, so it fits the way a jumper should: close enough to look clean, loose enough to layer over a shirt.

What We Offer

We make V-necks, crew necks, roll necks, half-zips and full zip-throughs. Each one is knitted to your size in your choice of yarn: merino wool for everyday weight and easy care, cashmere for softness and warmth, or cotton for lighter weather. You pick the colour, the weight, and the neckline.

How To Wear It

Knitwear fills the gap between a shirt and a jacket. A fine-gauge merino V-neck under a blazer gives you a layered look without bulk. A roll neck on its own works for dinners, weekends and travel. A half-zip over a T-shirt is about as relaxed as smart casual gets while still looking put together. These pieces tie the rest of your wardrobe together.

WHY OUR TAILORED MEN'S CASUAL CLOTHES ARE DIFFERENT

Casual clothes that fit as they should

Tailored casual wear is designed around your build, giving everyday pieces a cleaner, more flattering fit than standard ready-to-wear. The difference is immediate in the way a jacket sits, how trousers fall and how comfortable the clothing feels throughout the day.

Relaxed to wear, refined in appearance

The appeal of tailored casual wear lies in its balance. It offers the comfort and ease of informal clothing, while still looking considered, polished and well judged in any setting where a suit would feel too formal.

Made to last beyond a season

With better cloth, stronger construction and a fit that works properly on the body, tailored casual pieces tend to wear better over time. They hold their shape, feel more substantial and offer greater long-term value than trend-led alternatives.

Designed around your lifestyle

From travel and weekends to smart-casual events and relaxed working days, tailored casual wear gives you clothing that feels personal and genuinely useful. With control over fabric, fit and finishing details, each piece is made to suit the way you actually dress.

START WITH A CONVERSATION

Not sure where to begin? That is fine. Most of our casual wear clients start with one or two pieces and build from there. Book a consultation and we will help you work out what is missing from your wardrobe, what cloths work for your life, and what will get the most wear. No pressure. Just good advice.
