In 2006, Ian Fielding-Calcutt set out to create something different in the world of bespoke tailoring. After a successful career with a premium tailoring brand, Ian realised there was a gap for people who wanted more than traditional tailoring—they wanted luxury with a modern twist. Armed with years of experience and a clear vision, Ian founded Fielding & Nicholson to bring his idea to life.
A chance meeting in the Swiss Alps with entrepreneur Adam Nicholson turned the dream into reality. Together, they built a company that offers not just beautifully tailored clothes but an entirely personal and convenient experience. Their vision was simple: combine the timeless quality of British craftsmanship with the ease and flexibility modern clients need.

Lewis took me through the whole process step by step and made it so easy. He was great at listening to my ideas, making suggestions, coming up with a range of options in the end helped me create an incredible looking suit. It included some customisations that make the suit personal to me, and some really cool details that make it subtly stand out (like the angled button holes and coloured stitching).
The service was exceptional with Lewis always happy to go the extra mile for me.
I have the only suit in the world of its kind and it looks amazing.
I met up with Lewis who ran through a range of options as well as giving great advice on colours, what would look best on me etc.
We went for a 3-piece navy blue and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The fit, cut and colour were all outstanding and delivered in a speedy and efficient manner. Lewis’s communication is very good and he kept me updated throughout. Knowing that they will continue to alter the size if I gain or lose weight to keep the suit looking sharp shows the great customer service they provide.

Several weeks ago I linked in with Natalie May regarding a custom shirt. All good and I will be recieving soon .. However her knowledge and professionalism hit a note with me and yesterday we had a further appointment to discuss a bespoke suit and some corrections on a suit I had made by another supplier. I have to say the service was impeccable , relaxed but professional and put me totally at ease .. Obviously I have now purchased the suit and look forward to the remainder of the process.
