30 or so years ago I had the pleasure of meeting Tommy Nutter who was wearing a fabulous suit. I’ve always wanted a truly eye-catching outfit like his and Ian Fielding-Calcutt achieved this with a perfectly fitted tweed suit which attracts attention wherever I go. Thank you Ian! Mike

Lewis did a great job - love my new suits. I’ve never had random people approach me and complement me on my suits before. Has now happened in several different cities. Shirts also fit perfectly. Just waiting for the ties and then all set

Excellent, I couldn’t recommend F&N any more. I bought a made to measure black tie suit for my wedding and couldn’t have been happier. Lewis was amazing, very personal and knowledgable. I had been to a number of other tailors prior to F&N to get an idea of who I wanted to buy my suit from and none were as helpful and personable. Quality of suit was excellent and very good value. For a made to measure suit, I was able to customise the suit far more than most other tailors would allow.
Highly recommend their service and suits. I will definitely be buying from F&N again.

Without doubt the best tailoring experience I've had. I came to Lewis and his team with some tweed that had been sitting in an attic for a couple of years, it had a great deal of sentimental value as it was gifted to me by a late relative. I was hoping to get a three-piece suit out of it. Lewis and everyone at Fielding Nicholson were so knowledgeable and helpful but what really struck me was the enthusiasm they had for the project. They truly care and the results speak to that. I'm delighted with the suit, it couldn't have turned out any better and will have it for years to come. It is without doubt the best thing I've worn. Lewis and co did everything possible to make sure it turned out to be the highest quality piece. I cannot recommend them enough and will be back again.

Just received my 7th suit from Ian and Alex at Fielding & Nicholson and it’s perfect. Bought my first suit from them in 2017 and was thoroughly pleased with both the service offered and (even more so) the quality of the finished product. There really is nothing like the feel of donning a well tailored suit. And the process itself it’s a wonderful experience being able to input into every design decision. I look forward to many suits from these gentlemen in the future.

First time i have had a suit made by these after having several made in the past elsewhere. Service was very professional, welcoming, and reassuring. I was kept up to date of progress all through the making of the suit. Appointments were on time and again, welcoming at all times. No cancellations or delays.
The finished product was perfect and was an incredibly good fit at the first time of trying on. No adjustments required.

minor point was also the ease of the location. Very central London but a minute walk from the nearest car park.

I was buying a gift for a friend’s 50th and spoke to a number of tailors but Ian was the one that really understood the occasion and what I was looking for. It’s been a delight working with Ian and his colleagues, who understood that it was not just about a fitting but about the whole experience. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience having my wedding suit made.
Lewis took me through the whole process step by step and made it so easy. He was great at listening to my ideas, making suggestions, coming up with a range of options in the end helped me create an incredible looking suit. It included some customisations that make the suit personal to me, and some really cool details that make it subtly stand out (like the angled button holes and coloured stitching).
The service was exceptional with Lewis always happy to go the extra mile for me.
I have the only suit in the world of its kind and it looks amazing.

Fed up of just buying off the shelf suits I decided to have a tailor made one and really glad I went with Fielding & Nicholson. The experience has been nothing short of exceptional.

I met up with Lewis who ran through a range of options as well as giving great advice on colours, what would look best on me etc.

We went for a 3-piece navy blue and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The fit, cut and colour were all outstanding and delivered in a speedy and efficient manner. Lewis’s communication is very good and he kept me updated throughout. Knowing that they will continue to alter the size if I gain or lose weight to keep the suit looking sharp shows the great customer service they provide.

I recently met up with Ian Fielding-Calcutt and we discussed looking at a smart casual option for next time.

It’s such a pleasure to work with Fielding & Nicholson to have the bespoke personal service and highly recommend them.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Nathalie from Fielding and Nicolson, who created two beautifully tailored shirts for me. As a full-time manual wheelchair user, finding clothing that fits comfortably and looks stylish has always been a challenge. Nathalie went above and beyond to ensure that these shirts not only fit perfectly but also provide the flexibility and ease of movement I need.

Her attention to detail and willingness to listen to my specific needs made the whole experience incredibly smooth and enjoyable. The fabrics are top-notch, and the tailoring is immaculate—each shirt feels custom-made for both my body and lifestyle.

Ian good morning ,
Wouid just like to bring my most recent visit to your showroom to your attention ..
Several weeks ago I linked in with Natalie May regarding a custom shirt. All good and I will be recieving soon .. However her knowledge and professionalism hit a note with me and yesterday we had a further appointment to discuss a bespoke suit and some corrections on a suit I had made by another supplier. I have to say the service was impeccable , relaxed but professional and put me totally at ease .. Obviously I have now purchased the suit and look forward to the remainder of the process. Please pass on my thanks to Natalie a true professional and I will certainly be reccomending to those who appreciate such service and quality

I have worked with Nathalie for nearly 10 years on my tailoring. Nathalie has always managed to give me a look that makes me feel amazing. Whether that’s for work or something a bit more casual. Nathalie also managed to push through a piece for a TedX event in a little under 3 weeks – she is kind, totally focused on her clients, fun to work with and always gives you the absolute best. I wouldn’t work with anyone else

Had to turn around a suit quickly for my wedding and Lewis took really good care of me! I thought I would only have time to get something pre-made and altered, but he assured me we could do a custom made suit in the time I needed it. I'm glad we did, the suit looked great and fit well. Huge boost of confidence wearing it on my wedding day!

A friend recommended Lewis at Nicholson & Fielding as I wanted to have a new dinner suit made (for me and my Best Man) for my wedding. I have never had a made-to-measure suit before and it was a wonderful experience. Lewis was extremely knowledgeable and supportive throughout the measuring and making process and helped create something that was both classic and different. Even the jacket lining was carefully selected to match our shoes! Lewis also helped select the accessories to go with the suit (bow tie, shirt studs, braces) to make sure every element worked together. It was important not to outshine the Bride, but at the same time, Lewis ensured I looked dignified, stylish and smart on the day. I would certainly recommend him to anyone looking for a distinctive touch.

I have been using Fielding & Nicholson tailors for over 15 years. They are professional, modern tailors with an eye on the latest fashion trends. I specifically use Alex Riley who I would recommend to anyone for ideas on the perfect bespoke suit for any occasion. Alex has helped me with my last 4 suits, 2 jackets, trousers and fitted shirts. I have never been disappointed and if I have ever requested alterations on any of my clothes they are more than happy to oblige. Outstanding professional service. Outstanding suit and even better customer service. I started a new job in the city and decided that my formal wardrobe was in need of a proper upgrade! Lewis was as attentive as he was knowledgable and helped me to design the perfect suits for my needs. I needed something that was durable and smart, but modest enough for the work environment. Something that would impress but that was ultimately functional. His experience regarding design and fabric requirements for different occasions was excellent.
