You’ve got to love David Beckham’s style at the moment. Over the years it’s become clear how much of an expert he is in pairing pieces, as well as styling his casual outfits to look quintessentially classic. He’s also an expert at dressing for his age, something many of us can find find challenging.
He may have started off as a squeaky voiced footballer(!) but he now has many more roles than that. These include being an ambassador for the British Fashion Council, which really says it all about his style and place in current British fashion.
We are glad to see there has been an evolution of his wardrobe since the ’90s and he has veered away from the tracksuits and bad haircuts. His styling at the moment really is something to be behold.
Here are some of our favourite looks for David over the last couple of years
Look 1
Seen earlier in the year leaving a restaurant in New York rocking one of the best smart casual outfits we have seen in a long time, David was wearing an Ottaway style X Benson & Clegg beige knitted polo with a pair of navy Flannel pinstripe trousers, brown brogues and some great shades from his own brand.
We love this look because it is so everyday and so easy to replicate in our own wardrobe’s

Look 2
An even more casual look with a bright patterned summer Cuban shirt from Saint Laurent, Beckham looks oh so cool as Maserati Ambassador, pairing the patterned shirt with a classic basic of a scoop neck white Tee and navy slacks, with some jewellery thrown in as well.
Another easy look to replicate when you need a look for a casual event in the warm weather

Look 3
This upscale look served by Beckham at Wimbledon 2019 is a classic and a great source of inspiration for your own summer suit’s
This look is a classic tailored sports jacket made from Khaki linen with some new interesting details such as those large loose patch pockets. Paired with a grey tweed trousers.
The lighter weight tweed trouser is perfect for the ever-changing British weather, but if you are in a hot climate maybe opt for linen or lightweight cotton.
