Our top five spring/summer 2021 menswear trends

With the hope that we might be able to venture outside our home by the time spring comes around.  Here are our top trends for next season.

Utility

Although it’s been hanging around for the past few seasons, new utility is most defiantly still looking great.  So, hold on to those safari jackets and functional pieces.

Look for items with visible pockets and those that give the feeling of workwear and you’ll be right on this trend.

Bomber jackets are back

One of the best investment pieces to be made for a man interested in his casual wardrobe. With so much variety in styling, fabric, colour and detailing, the options are endless, from ‘Top Gun’ flight suit styles to minimalist and sleek.

The perfect jacket for spring it will still give you warmth but it’s easy to slip on with any outfit.

Statement shirts

With all of us needing a bit of joy and colour in our life after a long hard lockdown winter a more interesting shirt might be perfect. You don’t have to go too bold but maybe a subtle print or different kind of collar or cuff?

It might just be worth diversifying your shirt collection

70’s glamour

Many well-known icons have already been championing the updated 70’s style.

You don’t have to go full corduroy flares and wide collared shirt but maybe take a few hints from the era into your wardrobe. Try a safari shirt or a leather bomber jacket

Pastels

Although a standard trend for spring/summer we still love to see pastels.  You might opt for a full suit or if you’re feeling a little less flamboyant, try a light pastel knitted sweater or casual overshirt to swap in for a light jacket.

We highly recommend having at least some pastel in your wardrobe and not relegating such beautiful shades only to your work shirts.
