Harry Styles is one of the best-dressed musicians in the world at the moment and that is because he knows how to carry his clothes. He was an X factor star who made a name for himself in the UK boy band One direction and has since made an astronomical solo career for himself.
There are some truly stand out items in his wardrobe, but he has become a style icon by basing his wardrobe around a collection of basic pieces and then exploring/experimenting with interesting finishing touches or one-off pieces. From things like velvet suits, pastel flares, ruffle shirts his outfits often lean towards feminine style but we think anyone can take inspiration from his looks.
We have had a look at some of our favourite pieces from him and you will see that Styles often works with the fashion house Gucci, which is a great collaboration of vintage high fashion with a quirky side.
This incredible 70s wallpaper inspired double-breasted Gucci suit is a perfect example of a stunning outfit that has got that quirky edge. It’s also paired with a classic Gucci bamboo handbag. Styles wore this to the Brit Awards in February 2021
In February 2020 he attended and performed on The Today Show in America, he wore a colour blocked outfit also from Gucci with pinks, purple, blue and a stand out polka dot.
Another great look is the Chocolate brown suit he wore for the 2020 Brit awards. Paired with an over the top frill collar and purple jumper (another Gucci look) We see a lot of 70s inspiration in what harry wears with double-breasted oversized suits, flares, fabrics and patterns. Styles also loves a modern spin on a classic, for example, your traditional safari look with jacket and trousers in camel, but re-imagined in a purple with pink polka dot fabric. Everything he wears is a feast for the eyes, it’s new and exciting and he is definitely someone you should be following on social media and taking inspiration from. He is a truly modern man.
